What is Architecture? It is the Science and Art of designing cities, spaces and structures. An architect designs residential, commercial, industrial and public buildings and spaces like museums, hospitals, educational institutes, exhibition pavilions etc. The gamut of work deals with the structural design, layout , circulation, conservation, restoration, and interior design work of false ceilings, floorings, wall finishes, fixtures, services like electricity, plumbing, cable, piped gas, telephone, ac cooling and heating, acoustics, security systems, and smart technology.

Eligibility : 12th board examinations in any stream with mathematics as a subject and minimum 50% marks
Level : undergraduate
Duration : 5 years
Fees : State government colleges average Rs 20000 pa. Private unaided colleges average Rs 36000 to Rs 1200000pa. Some private colleges go higher.
Awarded : Bachelor of Architecture Degree
Admission procedure : weightage given to 12th board marks and entrance test marks.
Training : entrance test training can begin any time after the 10th standard boards.
